Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the age of 58. Nancy Shirley Morrison, was born of Objibwe and French descent, on Tuesday, June 21, 1960, in Emo, Ontario. She was adopted at the age of six by Raymond Felix Courchesne and the late Rose Marie (nee Turgeon). Mother of Morgan Raymond Courchesne (Sarah Fidler-Bowers) and grandmother of Emma Dawn Courchesne. Granddaughter of Marie Jeanne Laura Simon (late Joseph Reginald Jean-Baptiste Courchesne). Sister of Hal Ricky Courchesne (Iyla Rose Grant), Reginald Joseph Courchesne (Jamie-Shannon Lillian Nilson) and David John Raymond Courchesne (Lola Chantale Lavoie). Aunt of Aaron Scott Courchesne, Daniel Joseph Courchesne, Debbie-Shannon Lillian Nilson, Bradley-David Nilson, Tyler-Alyn Clair Nilson, Ryan David Courchesne-Richard, Christine Martha Courchesne, great-aunt of five nieces and nephews. Shirley was a niece to many aunts and uncles and their families. Special friend to Anna Foggia. Shirley was a member of the SAH PACT team and will be missed. Cremation has taken place. Family and Friends are invited to attend at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) a Memorial Service on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
