Our dear sweet boy passed tragically from a fall accident in the early morning hours of May 2nd, 2022.
Dawson was a light to all who met him. Naturally gifted at music, he could pick up an instrument and be playing a tune within minutes.
His smile and laughter were contagious and he had a way of filling any room with joy.
His adventurous nature, love of the outdoors and love of photography brought him peace. He would often take solace in long walks through the woods near our home.
Dawson was a child of many gifts and talents from photography, drawing, gaming, playing piano and more. But the best thing Dawson was good at was making people feel loved.
His warmth and sweet nature will be missed by all who knew him.
Dawson is survived by his Nana and Papa Coulter, his Grandfather and Grandmother Arrand, his Auntie and Uncle Coulter, his Cousins Dakota and Sierra Coulter, his Brother and Sister; Kaiden and Madison Coulter-Lauzon and his Parents Craig and Chantal Lauzon, as well as many Great Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
Dawson is pre deceased by his Great Grandfather Horney, his Nana Jo Lauzon, his Great Grandmere and Grandpere Lauzon, his Great Aunts Suzanne and Ginette and his Great Uncle Laddie. We hold hope in our hearts that they are taking great care of our boy for us in our stead.
Many thanks go out to our loving community who have and continue to support us in this tragic time. Thank you to The Well where Dawson spent countless hours playing D&D and making friends. Andrew and Rachel for your support has been immeasurable.
To the many of you who have shared memories, made calls, looked for Dawson’s beloved hat, dropped off meals or just let us talk without judgement we can’t thank you enough.
If you take one piece of advice from Dawson please let it be this: “Don’t let dreams be dreams.”
To my dear sweet boy: We love you so very much. We miss you every minute of every day. There is nothing we would not give to have you here with us once more. To hold you and remind you of how much you are loved. To hear you play your beautiful music on the piano you were restoring. To hear the sweet sound of your laugh. We love you now and for always. Sleep well.
A private celebration of Dawson’s life will be held at a later date.
