It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Hubert James Corbiere at the age of 82.
He is son to the late David and Alice Corbiere. Cherished husband to Helen Corbiere for 14 years. Proud father of David Corbiere. Dear grandfather of Christine Green and Angelica Day. Predeceased by his siblings Wilfred Corbiere (late Susan), Violet Wrinkler (late Al), Ernie Corbiere, Levi Corbiere (Patsy) and Ambrose Corbiere (Bernadette). He will be missed by his sister Lavina Johns (late Ray Johns). Hubert will be sadly missed by all his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Hubert will be lovingly remembered for his laugh, which could light up any room. In his spare time, he enjoyed his job cleaning windows and was always there for his family when we needed him.
As per the family's request, friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E., 705-759-2522) on Saturday July 20, 2024 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm for a memorial Celebration of Life in Hubert's honour. A Graveside committal will take place in M'chigeeng Cemetery on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Canadian Red Cross would be greatly appreciated by the family.
