Peacefully, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with lung cancer at the General Hospital on Friday, August 5, 2005 at the age of 59 years. Beloved husband for 25 years and best friend of Anna. Proud and loving father of Carmela, Danny and Maria Louise. Loving brother of Rosa Provenzano (late Adolfo), Vito Coccimiglio (Franca), Stanislao “Ninno” Coccimiglio (Antonia Maria) of Italy and Pina Ciccone (Camillo). Joining his mother Carmela and father Antonio and sisters Rosa and Concetta at the gates of heaven. Treasured son-in-law of Carmine Florio (late Maria). Beloved brother-in-law and hunting partner of Joe Florio (Fran). Special nephew of many aunts and uncles in Italy and the United States. Proud uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews and survived by numerous cousins. He will be honoured and fondly remembered as a selfless and hard-working gentleman by all that knew him. Saverio enjoyed working with his hands and sharing the bounty of his garden.
