October 12, 1967 – January 14, 2025
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bruce Joseph Clouthier, peacefully, while at home, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Bruce will be cherished and deeply missed by his sons Cole and Jake and their mother Nicole Clouthier. He is also survived by brothers Randy Clouthier (Matilda), Gerry Clouthier (Sylvia), Chris Clouthier; sister Mary Ellen Pritchard nee Clouthier, brother-in-law Brad Davey (Caroline) and in-laws Brian Davey (Debra). Bruce was predeceased by parents Edward and Daisy Clouthier nee Sagle, and sister-in-law Kim Clouthier (Aelick). He will also be fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many dear life-long friends who meant the world to him.
Bruce was a lover of all sports but especially enjoyed curling, football, golf and hockey. He loved the times he spent watching and playing sports with his family and friends especially the Brothers’ Golf/Football Get-a-ways and Long Weekend Fishing Trips with buddies. One of his most cherished time was spent as a coach of his two boys and anytime he got to watch them do and play what they love. He had a wonderful sense of humour and brightened any social gathering. His laugh was one of a kind and would be instantly recognized wherever he was. He loved trivia and enjoyed the family trivia around the bonfire. He often spoke of his summers camping with his cousins at Pinecrest in Thessalon. He was a gentle, loving, kind man.
In keeping with all things Bruce there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 upstairs at the YNCU Curling Club from 1 pm until 4 pm (124 Anita Blvd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6B 4P9). Come and share your memories, have a drink and toast a great man. Memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to his boys Cole and Jake Clouthier to continue to pursue their dreams or A.R.C.H. Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Clouthier family.
