Went peacefully home to her Lord, with her family by her side at the Sault Area Hospital, Sunday, July 17, 2005, on the 61st anniversary of her marriage to her beloved husband, Sandy. Loving mother of Robert and Ann, Graham and Grace, Heather and the late Wayne Rodgers, Bonnie and Gary Sharp, Murray and Deb, Jil and Tom. Much loved grandma of 17 and great grandma of 17. Daughter of the late Richard and Amy Weston of Port Arthur (Thunder Bay), Ontario. Dear sister of Brian (Kathy) and the late Norman, Madeline and Donald. Special aunt to Patricia Weston and dear cousin of Edith Sarlo. Ruby was a talented artist and her painted china and landscape paintings decorate the homes of many friends and family members. She loved to travel with her husband, especially to England to visit relatives. Ruby and Sandy’s home was always open to visitors who enjoyed special times and singing around the piano. She enjoyed continuous fellowship with Christians at the Gospel Hall and will be sadly missed by many dear friends; the crab dinners will never be the same.
