Rachael Mae Clark of Vancouver, BC died peacefully in her sleep on May 1, 2023 and has gone to the spirit world. Rachael had been struggling with lung disease for the past few years and recently developed pneumonia. Rachael was born and raised in Thessalon, ON to Mabel and Byron Clark (both deceased) and was a member of Thessalon First Nation. She is the mother of Craig Milner (deceased) and Wayne Milner of southern Ontario. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ivah and Byron. Rachael will be forever missed by her sister Violet McLean (late Robert) and brother Gerry (Pauline) all of Thessalon. She is predeceased by brother Emery. She will also be sadly missed and forever remembered by many nieces and nephews including Kim, Robert (Tiger), Jenny, Courtney, and Noella, and she now joins her niece (the late) Angela Mclean. Rachael also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by her lifelong best friend Elaine Marin. The family extends a special thank you to Rachael’s very special BC friends, Lindsay, Maria and Ross who were at her side to the end. We know how much Rachael loved them and we are comforted to know they were there for her. Those wishing to celebrate Rachael’s life are invited to join the family for a memorial service at Thessalon First Nation Community Hall on Saturday, May 20 at 11:00 am. Rest peacefully, Rae.
