It is with profound sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Sault Area Hospital in her 79th year. Aline Clarisse Chitaroni (nee Lapointe) was the loving wife of the late Ronald Joseph Chitaroni (2016). Beloved mother of Darleen Zorzi (Bill), Michael (Connie) and Terry (Angela). Aline's grandchildren were her pride and joy: Jarrett, Samantha, Mason, Hudson and Brock. Cherished sister of Jeannine Dillon (late Edmond) of Timmins, Marguerite Dillon (Vincent) of Jogues, the late Jeanne D'Arc Lapointe, Colette (Gérard) Campeau of Timmins, Alice Callewaert (Sim) of Oshawa, John Lapointe (Theresa) of Hearst, Denise Baril (Louis) of Hearst, the late Robert Lapointe (Jeannie) of Timmins and Réjeanne Camire (François) of New Liskeard. Ma tante Aline will be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Cécile (Roy) and Majorique Lapointe. Less than two years ago, Aline lost her beloved husband and best friend of 50 years. She and Ron were inseparable, went everywhere and did everything together. Now they are reunited again in Heaven up above, soul mates forever. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Father Daniele Muscolino officiating.
