It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Aline Marie Fedelia Chiccarelli (nee Dufresne), age 87, announce her peaceful passing on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice.
Beloved wife of Angelo for 65 years, mother of Gary (Fran), Jamie, Mark (Karen) and Joel (Frank). Grandmother of Alyssa (Anthony), Mark-Lee and Christopher, special Gigi to Emily and Kate and step grandmother of Christopher Sparks (Holly). Aline was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Alda (nee Couture) Dufresne and her brothers Dolor, Albert, and Gene.
Aline was a special lady. She was always there to help so many when they were in need. She cared deeply about people and would offer an ear to listen and help in any way she could. Her voice may be silent now, but we know she still hears us.
To honour her memory (especially now during Covid), we ask that every day, you choose forgiveness, love, and compassion through your own actions, thoughts and prayers, and most importantly, to be kind to one another. Respecting Aline’s wishes cremation will occur with no public visitation or services. If desired donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Kidney Foundation or ARCH would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. We wish to thank the staff of Cedarwood Lodge, Sault Area Hospital 3B as well as the staff of ARCH for all the love and care given to our mother during this transition.
