CHEVIS, Robert Earl

Passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side at the Blind River District Health Centre on Saturday, October 9, 2004 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Muriel (nee Wilton). Dear brother of Dorothy Boville (late Jack) and Ronald (Sharon) both of Iron Bridge and Lorraine McClelland (Ken) of Blind River. Predeceased by Cecil (Margaret), Bernice Morrett (late Louie) and Tommy. Loving father of Margaret Lessard (Darwin) and Corrie Edwards (late John) both of Iron Bridge, Karen Maguire (Walter) and Linda Robertson (Gary) both of Sault Ste. Marie and Darlene Childs (Steve) of Nestleton. Cherished grandfather of Bob, John, Tracy, Kristi, Sherri, Derek, Chad, Tania, Gary, Jennifer, Stephanie, Roberta and Denna. Fondly remembered by 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Tuesday, October 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service from the Lion Community Hall in Iron Bridge at 2 p.m. with Philip Carlson officiating. Interment in Arnill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sault Area Hospitals would be greatly appreciated.
