It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Esther Susan Chelsom on November 19, 2023. God has called her home at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony Grant Chelsom and her parents Mary and William Falconer. She will be dearly missed by children Claire, Glenn & Danny (Shelley), grandchildren Phyllis, Riley, Emma, Noah, Brett and sisters Mary Alward (late Neville) and Barb Hurley (late Gordon).
Esther will be remembered for her deep love of nature and animals, especially her Golden Retrievers. She had many creative talents and enjoyed sewing and baking for family and friends.
We will miss her sense of humour, kind disposition and beautiful smile.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Extendicare Van Daele Manor and the F.J. Davey Home in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. A private celebration of Esther’s life will take place at the family’s request.
For her adoration of animals, memorial contributions in Esther’s name to the Humane Society or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
