We are sad to announce the death of our mother on Monday, July 17, 2006 at Extendicare Tendercare, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Chapman and Paul Veaudry. Loving mother of Rena Allard (late Bill), Peter Vaudry (Patricia), Bob Veaudry, Audrey Armour and Shirley Allard (Bob). Predeceased by her children, Betty Sckopke, Ron Veaudry and Rita Becking (late Alvin), Leo, Butch and Gary Veaudry. Irene will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Friends may call at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church (136 Cathcart Street) on Thursday, July 20, 2006 from 10 am until time of memorial service at 11 am. Rev. Deon Slabbert officiating. Committal service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery Urn Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Tendercare Nursing Home would be appreciated. As a family, we will be forever grateful that the friendships formed with the caregivers, nurses and staff at Tendercare helped to make her time there as comfortable for her as we could have hoped.
