Peacefully surrounded by her family, she went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the age of 92. Margaret joins her husband Tony and her son Patrick. Best mother in the world to Peggy Anne Tessier (Whit), Michael (Deepti), Mary Jo DiFilippo (David), Nancy (Alasdair Douglas) and Tony Jr. (Mary). Fun and loving Granny to Kelley, Clay, Neesha, Tara, Daniel, Steven, Anna, Hannah and Meghan. Predeceased by her siblings Loretta, Mike, Art, Mary and John. Also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Margaret mentored and touched many lives. Her formal teaching career started at the age of 17 and continued until her retirement in June of 1985. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from Precious Blood Cathedral on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10 am. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
