As the choirs sang, the Lord opened up the gates of heaven to let a very special angel in. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margie Caruso who died on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the age of 75.
Beloved wife and best friend of Pasquale (Pat) Caruso. Cherished mother of John Caruso and Christopher Caruso (Rachel). Proud Nona of Amelia and Alexander Caruso. Loving daughter of the late John and Elda Celetti. Fondly remembered by her brother David Celetti and by her sisters Bernadette Bradford (Jim) and Joanne Evans (Jim). Margie will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her accordion playing and organ playing in the church. She dedicated many years of her life teaching for the Huron Superior Catholic School Board and she was a very devoted religious women. Prayer was essential to Margie's daily life. She enjoyed playing cribbage and go fish and she was the "queen" who always won. Family meant everything to Margie and she always had a way of keeping family together.
Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street E. 705-759-2522) on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at Our Lady Of Good Counsel Church on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 11:00 am with Rev. Michael Omojola officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
