It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jeffrey Charles Cartwright at home with his wife at his side Wednesday April 1, 2020 at the age of 65. He was the loving husband and best friend of Nancy Jo (nee Graham), much loved father of Jennifer Jo Mitchell (Peter Jon) and Graham Charles Cartwright (Michelle). Wonderful grandfather to Emmaline, Abigail and Joshua Mitchell and Aubrey, Evan and Caleb Cartwright. Predeceased by his parents, Doris and Bill Cartwright. Brother to Marilyn Charbonneau (George), Jean Gillman (late Ross) and Bill Cartwright (late Pam). Son-in-law of Margaret Deinum and brother-in-law of James Graham (Deborah), Donna Addis (Herb) and Norma MacPhail (Jeff). Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jeff will be sadly missed by all the staff and students from the School of Natural Environment at Sault College from where he recently retired after a career of more than 30 years. His Church family at Bethel Bible Chapel will miss him greatly but take comfort in the knowledge that he is with his Lord and Saviour. Galatians 2:20 says “I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” The truth of this verse was evident in the way Jeffrey lived and served his family, friends and church community. After a private family visitation, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque) to Camp Aush-Bik-Koong or Bethel Bible Chapel would be appreciated.
