CARTER, John Harold

We regret to announce the death of John Harold Carter at the Tendercare Nursing Home with his family by his side, on Sunday, September 14, 2003 at the age of 81. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary (MacDonald). Loving father of Helen – Mary and Murdoch (Kim). Dear grandfather of Sandra, David and Mark Lomas, Christina, Maxwell, Aimee and Murdoch Carter. Brother of Agatha MacDonald (late Bert), late Fred (late Doris), late Bill (Nolda). Dear uncle of Harold MacDonald (Patti), Janet Piper (Greg), Bill Carter, John Carter and Denise Higli. Jack worked for 43 years at Algoma Steel and retired in 1984. Funeral service at St. Lukes Cathedral on Friday, September 19, 2003 at 11 am. The Very Rev. I.L. Robertson officiating. Interment to follow at St. Lukes Cathedral Columbarium. Memorial contributions to the Arthritis Society, Tendercare Nursing Home Residents Council, or to the St. Lukes Cathedral Choir or Building Fund would be appreciated.
