Passed away surrounded by family at Sault Area Hospital on Monday, February 25th, 2019 at the age of 76.
Beloved son of the late William and Mary (Palumbo) Cardiff. Survived by his children Mary Schwantz (Shane) and Dan Cardiff (Rachel), and his grandchildren Rob Figures, Nathan Cardiff, and Miranda Cardiff. Ed will be missed by his many siblings, his extended family, and his friends. Special thanks to his brothers Tom and Allen for all they did for Ed in the past year. We would like to thank all of the nurses and staff at Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion, and especially the staff in 3B in recent months. At the family's request, there will be no funeral service, with interment to take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home (492 Wellington St. E, (705) 759-2522). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
