Reunited with her husband David on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the age of 95 with family at her side.
Loving mother of Brian (Vicki), Garry (Maureen), David (Linda), Jamie (Tammy), and Elizabeth Baic (Tim). Elizabeth will be fondly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Harvey Johnson (Betty), Bernice Johnson (Elijah), Archibald Johnson (Reta), Marion Paton (Bill) and Lawrence Johnson (Muriel). Sister-in-law of Lloyd Campbell (Sandra) and predeceased by Elmer (Laura), Raymond (Barbara), Kenneth (June), Elaine Sutherland (Jerry) and Ivan (Betty). Elizabeth will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
A testament to her independence, Elizabeth lived on her own until the age of 95. Family was the most important aspect of her life. She was their fiercest protector, providing strength and guidance as both a mother and a friend. As a nightingale, Elizabeth left a strong impression on the nursing staff during her last days.
A private graveside service will be held. Memorial contributions by cheque or online to ARCH Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
