It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marie (nee Bourdages), peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the age of 79.

Beloved wife of the late John Angus.  Loving mother of the late Andrew.  Predeceased by her parents Albert and Georgina (nee Duguay).  Cherished sister of Veronica (late Arthur) and Joanne (Laurie).  Predeceased by her siblings Francis "Bucky" (Phyllis - dearest and most precious sister-in-law), George, Winston, Rose Marie (late David) and  Tynne (late Lane). Dear sister-in-law of Herman (late Shirley), Archie (Greta, late Beatrice) and Annie (late Rauleigh).  Special aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Loved by many great-nieces and great-nephews as well as countless long time friends and families.  

Marie will be remembered for her humour, her generosity and kind ways.  A private family service will be held at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522). Friends are invited to view the service online starting at 10 am on Thursday, May 20, 2021 and can be viewed anytime up to 90 days. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to ARCH would be appreciated. Please visit Arthur Funeral Home website obituaries to leave memories and condolences as a keepsake for the family.

A special thank you to Father Scarfone and Shirley Kindred for assisting Marie on her Spiritual Journey.  A heart felt thank you to the many doctors for her care.  Special thank you to the Bayshore Nurse Susan, Leo and PSW Deanna from Home Instead for all their home care and thoughtfulness. Thank you to the LHIN organization for all their assistance through this process and to ARCH for all their care and compassion shown to Marie and our family.
