It is with heavy hearts, but an optimistic outlook that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Helen at the age of 80. She is predeceased by the love of her life, Gary. Proud and devoted mother to; Don (Cathy) and Dave (Tamara). Loving grandma "amma" of; Crystle, Sara, Brittany and Rachel. Great grandma to Caiden. Sister to Doug (Sharleen) and Karen (Ted). Helen was daughter to the late Donald and Elsa Cameron. Loving aunt, cousin and friend to many.
In her spare time, Helen and Gary were avid fans of the Greyhounds, holding seasons tickets for over 25 years. Helen and her husband were members of the Sunshine Travel Club. Helen enjoyed spending her summers at her camp on Island Lake where they hosted the best parties. Most of all, Helen was a devoted wife and friend to Gary, having been together since she was 14 years old.
The family would like to thank the F. J. Davey Home for their many years of compassionate and professional care. Assuring the family that she was well taken care of.
A private family service will take place to memorialize Helen's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste.
