With deep sadness, we regret to announce the passing of our dear brother-in-law and uncle, Gino Calibani on February 15, 2022, at the age of 83.
Born in Fano, Italy to the late Primo and Franca. Loving brother of the late Paolo (Luciana), the late Alfio (late Giuseppina) and late Tina (late Sergio). Survived by his sister-in-law, Luciana Calibani and her sons Robert (Rose) and Marco (Mary Ann). Special great uncle to Emily, Sophia, Matteo, and Paolo. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces in Italy.
Gino was known by many as a skilled craftsman, carpenter, and wood floor installer. He was a carefree spirit and had a great sense of humour. Gino was also a member of the Marconi Club, active in the Italian community, and was a soccer referee for many years.
A special thank you to Dr. Rose-Marie Gieni and all the care providers at the VanDale nursing home for their compassion, care, and support over the years.
Following Gino’s wishes, a private family service was held.
