Kyle Buswa-Virta was returned to the Creator on Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, at the age of 23. He was greeted by his mom Joanne Buswa-Virta and sister Hope Virta who predecease him. Extraordinary father to Stetson Virta. Deeply missed by his parents Kyle Sr. (Carrie) Virta as well as his siblings Robyn Buswa-Eadie, Sheldon Buswa-Eadie, Isaiah Virta, Julia Virta (Douglas Belleau) and McKinley Buswa-Virta. Loving uncle to Celina, Tehya, Landon and Jullian. Special nephew to many aunts and uncles especially, Brendan. Will be missed by many cousins and extended family. He will also never be forgotten by many friends, especially, Jarred, Dalton, Malcolm, Sebastian and his best friend and big brother Isaiah.
His happy personality, contagious laugh and remarkable sense of humour lit up every room and made the world a brighter place. These traits will live on in his son, Stetson, who Kyle was beyond proud of.
Kyle was an avid outdoorsman. Being on the water and fishing was his favourite place of refuge. He continued to apply this passion through the Fish and Wildlife course he was attending at Sault College. He was a go-getter who aspired to do the best he could in all he did, especially at work, and taking pride in his workmanship.
The family would like to express their thanks and deepest gratitude to the OPP and Sault Search and Rescue as well as the Gravenhurst dive team, Anishinabek Police and the Garden River Fire Department for your efforts in locating Kyle.
A service for Kyle will be held at the Garden River Community Centre (6 Shingwauk St, Garden River, ON) on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11am with burial to follow at Garden River Indian Reservation Catholic Cemetery.
