It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing on Friday, April 28, 2023 of our beloved Linda at the age of 63 with her loving husband Brad by her side.

Linda and Brad celebrated 42 years as soulmates and best friends.  Their family grew to include sons Ryan and Ian (wife Audrey). Grandma Linda's love of family then grew to include her treasured grandchildren Prezton Callon, Mariah (Justin Wagner), Brianna and Ashlynn Caporossi-Burke.  Honorary grandma to Tristan and Kolter Callon, Tyler Crain, Anthony Shockley and his children Collin, Chloe and Brooke. Linda was born June 17, 1959 to loving parents Betty and Alex Hunter. Much loved sister of Paula and Butch Starzynski, Phemie Hunter and Dave Cain, Betty-Jo and Michael Brown, Penny and Steven Boissineau and Jason and Leslie Hunter. Linda will be fondly remembered by her many nephews and nieces as well as her Hunter and Bryans Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Cremation has taken place and a family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations made payable by cheque or online to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Algoma Autism Foundation or the charity of your choice in Linda’s memory would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Burke family.

When I’m gone don’t fret over the things I left behind, you don’t need those trinkets to remember what we had.
And if you fear the forgetting, I will remind you when you sleep and you will wake up smiling, don’t let that turn to tears for I meant it to bring joy.
When I’m gone, fight that sadness and only let it fly its flag on days when you most need to.
My birthday should be celebrated still, for I was alive and I lived and that must be remembered above all.
When I’m gone, let me go my love, and say my name often for I think that will be the sign I need to come from wherever I may be.  When I do, don’t say you miss me because that I already know, just say you love me and that you let me go.
You can love me and also let me go.
