Ernie Bumbacco passed away at the Tendercare Nursing Home on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Ilda. Dear father of Jerry (Fay), Kenny (Ann) and Jamie (Betty-Jean). Grandfather of Christopher (Tricia), Cindy Cuff (Terry), Stephanie, Stacie, Kelly, Katie, Bruno and Joseph. Great grandfather of Owen James Cuff. Brother of Joseph (Amelia), Mello (Polly) and Rose Dewitt (Doug). Brother-in-law of the late John DeZordo (Derna) and Diane Perron (late Eddie). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Ernie was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Hockey Hall of Fame and Honourary Member of the Marconi Society. Ernie was an active participant in many sports, particularly hockey and baseball but was most proud of his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandson.
