Suddenly, at the age of 45. Jody was the loving son of Judy Bruzas and the late Harold Bruzas. Cherished father of Elliot. Brother of Jason (Paula). Predeceased by brothers, Shawn Matthews and Hans Bruzas. Uncle to Keith Stewart, Brendan Stewart and Kara Bruzas (Jason Lanthier). Great-Uncle of 8. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friend and co-parent of Dale Dereski.
Jody loved his daughter Elliot more than anything and spent many hours with her gardening and selling vegetables. You could often see them sitting out at Dacey Road in their vegetable stand. When he wasn’t gardening, he was baking and cooking. He owned Jody’s Country Kitchen in Echo Bay for several years, then continued cooking where he was currently employed at ATRC.

Family and friends are invited to a come and go, celebration of Jody’s life will be held at the Moose Lodge (Corner South Market Street and Trunk Road) on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Spring interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
