BRUNTON, Michael

Peacefully at ARCH on Saturday December 14, 2019 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Debbie (nee Bonnell) for 41 years. Son of the late Henry and Margaret (Keenan) Brunton. Loving father of David (Julia Crawford) and special Papa to Finn and Wells Brunton. Dear brother of Colleen Green, Maryanne (George) Campeau of Sudbury and the late Don Brunton. Predeceased by his grandparents John and Lucy Brunton and Mary Ann and john Keenan. Michael will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Michael was a proud Honourary Fourth Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #932, as well as a Superior Assembly 0883 member for a number of years. He was also known as the ‘Chocolate bar salesman for World’s Finest. Family and friends are invited to visit at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St. 705-759-8456) on Wednesday December 18, 2019 from 6:00pm until 9:00p.m. Funeral Mass at Precious Blood Cathedral on Thursday December 19, 2019 at 11:00am. Members of the Knights of Columbus are asked to assemble at O’Sullivan Funeral Home for 6pm. Debbie would like to thank Colleen for always being there and helping her and Michael. Thank you to the staff and volunteers at ARCH, Bayshore, as well as Dr. Booth and Dr. Rassouli for the care given to Michael. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH or the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund.
