We regret to announce the passing of Bruce Brooks at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 61. He is son of the late Thomas and Agnes Brooks. He is survived by his brothers Thomas and Robert and his sister Lisa. Predeceased by step-sister Lois. Beloved uncle of Lorraine, Karen and Thomas Jr.
He enjoyed his annual trips to Iceland and Scotland where he spend his time Bicycling, hiking, indulging in local life and making new friends wherever he went. In his spare time Bruce enjoyed spending time with friends, doing outdoor activities and coffee dates. He was a thoughtful man who always seemed to be concerned about the environment.
Friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522) for a visitation in Bruce's honour on Tuesday January 2, 2024 from 6 PM until the time of the service in the Chapel at 8 PM with Rev. Helen Smith officiating. in lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
