It is with great sadness we regret to announce the passing of our loving mother at Mauno Kaihla Koti (Finnish Resthome) on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the age of 88, with her daughter by her side. Beloved mother of Peggy, Brenda (late John), Patsy and the late Larry Bouchard (Gloria). She was predeceased by her parents Catherine and Ernest Watkins, and sister to the late Patricia Yackich, the late Joyce Bolduc and the late Ronald Watkins. Survived by her bother David Watkins (Marie). Much loved grandmother to Derek (Melanie), Tara, Cori (Codi) and great grandmother to Hannah and Cole. Lovingly remembered by her cousin and friend Barbara Hotchkiss and by many nieces, nephews and friends. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 restrictions a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Thank you to Dr. Schamp mother primary physician. A special thank you Dr. Fera, Dr. Grottoli, all the nurses and staff on 2B at the Sault Area Hospital. In addition, a special thank you to all the Finnish Resthome staff, Helena, Dr. White, and to the nursing staff Christina, Jessie, Kara, Beth and many others for the care and compassion you gave to our mother.
