Peacefully surrounded by her family at the North Shore Health Network, Blind River on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the age of 75.
Loving mother of Marianne Chillman (Karl), Lisa Showan (Matty) and Pamela Showan. Proud grandmother of Summer Jamieson (Scott), Kaleb Chillman (Tayler), Chase Sewell, Darby Sewell and Jada Abotossaway (Wesley). Adoring great grandmother of Addison Brown, Griffin Abotossaway and Renan Abotossaway. Eldest daughter of the late Lorne Boomhower and late Pauline Boomhower (nee Dilschneider). Dear sister of Donna Grasley (Jim), Paula Foster (Gary) and predeceased by her brothers Harold Boomhower and Lance Boomhower. Caring aunt of Anne Triplett (Jason Rydall), Amy Triplett, Chucker Showan, Christina McKerchie (Michael), Brooke Showan (Norm), Todd Showan (Cherie) and Mariah Showan. Great aunt of Mya, Ella and Lucas McKerchie. She will be missed dearly by her lifelong friends Linda Alton and Karen Steele.
