Lance was born in Bruce Mines, Ontario to Lorne and Pauline (Dilschneider) Boomhower and passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

He is survived by his three sisters; Wanda Boomhower, Donna Grasley (Jim) and Paula Foster (Gary).  Lance will also be missed by his nephews, great nephews, nieces, great nieces and many cousins.

Lance was a special soul and quite a character. He lived his life independently and was a true treasure when it came to recalling family history, events and friends. He was also a long time proud member of the Moose Lodge #535.

Thank you to his best friends Dianna and Yvon, Personal Support Worker Laurie Cress, Dr. Berry and The Sault City Police, EMT's and Coroner for their kindness, outstanding care and service. A special thank you to the Foster Clan in Bruce Mines for including Lance in many of their celebrations and gatherings over the years. Cremation has taken place and in honouring Lance's wishes there will be no funeral service.

Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Renal Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Boomhower family.
