Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the age 61.
He is reunited for eternity with his beloved Norma Jean (Rowan). Cherished son of Dorothy Bonell (nee DeSimon) and the late Robert H. Bonell. Beloved brother of Tom (Patricia), Robert, Mary Claire Wood (David). Dear father of Destiny Kerr, Aaron Kerr and Ashley Bradford. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and his extended family.
Chris was known to all of us as a gentle, caring, and generous man. He was very proud of his indigenous heritage and was very spiritual. He believed in the after life and knew that some day he would be reunited with all the ones he loved.
Family and Friends are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705 759-2522) on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 12 noon until time of funeral in the chapel at 1 pm. A ceremony will be conducted by Mr. Willard Pine. Out of respect for the family we would appreciate everyone to wear a mask and social distancing required. Memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the Children of Shingwauk Alumni Association would be greatly appreciated.
Special thanks to nursing staff of ParaMed Home Health Care, especially Mike, who took such good care of Chris for the past year.
