“None of that healthy stuff for me, I’ve got to drive”
Glens time at our event has heartbreakingly come to an end. He is on to the next great adventure.
Dad loved deeply and openly – if he loved you, you knew it. Family was also friends, friends became family, and family is everything. He will always be so incredibly loved in return by all of us now mourning his absence.
He was #1 Unc, the instigator of shenanigans, and a consistent source of flippant wisecracks for many. He was a rock, a mentor, and gave the very best hugs.
Glen hated to be late to anything (unless he really didn’t want to be there). He lived life with his shades on, window down and shirt open; he often found himself the center of attention at parties.
Loving and living out his legacy are his childhood sweetheart and faithful wife, Wendy (nee: MacIntyre), their children, Brandi (Will), Blake (Megan) and beloved grandchildren Grace and Gwen (of whom he was so proud), as well as many, many nieces and nephews that he held so dear.
He was the youngest son of the late Frank and late Della; precious brother to Jean (late Norm), Terry (Cathy), Patricia (Robert), late Darlene (late Louie), Debbie (Lawrence), late Edward (Judy), and Vincent (Valerie). He is the endeared son-in-law of Marilyn (late Norm); beloved brother-in-law of Jan (late Steve), Heather (late Tim), Patti-Lynn (Al) and Norman (Annie).
Dad did not want a service, so a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of memorial donations, please pay forward his kindness. Take your families out to dinner, set an extra plate at your table or donate to charities or organizations that are near and dear to your heart as Sick Kids or the Humane Society/rescue animals were special to him.
Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East, 705-759-2522). Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Bonefant family.
