April 11, 1949 - June 10, 2024

A teacher until the end, leaving behind a legacy of love.

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of our beautiful and stubborn warrior Michele Bergamin (nee Boissonneault).

Daughter of the late Jeannette and Rolland Boissonneault. Beloved wife of Bobby for almost 47 years. Devoted mother and best friend to her three equally stubborn children, Tasha Girardi (Kevin), Shawna Nelson (Doug) and Josh Bergamin. Cherished Grandma of Carter, the late Colton Girardi, Xavier Bergamin, Grayson, Oliver and Kenzie "Kenzie-Boomps" Nelson. Baby sister of Sergine Sebalj (Bronc), the late Yves (late Murielle and the late Huguette), the late Renee-Guay (Bob Deakos), Denis and Marlyn Boissonneault, Nicole Trembinski "Coco" (Fred). Daughter-in-law of the late Jack (the late Eva-Mae). Sister-In-Law of Ronald Bergamin (late June), the late Jackie, Maryann Joubert (Serge), Monica Denning (late Pat), Jimmy Bergamin (Tammy). Cherished Godmother, friend, teacher, auntie and cousin to many. Forever neighbour of Dora and Vince Plastino. She will also be missed by her pampered-pooch, Bingo.

The family would like to thank the paramedics, the staff at SAH Emergency and 3C for their care and compassion. A special thank you to mom's devoted PSW's over the years. Danielle and Karri, you were pivotal in mom's happiness and health.

Friends and family are invited to visit Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E, 705-759-2522) for a visitation in Michele's honour on Friday June 14, 2024 from 1:30 P.M. until the time of the service at 3:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Canadian Lung Association or the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Please visit www.arthurfuneralhome.com obituaries section to leave a message of condolence as a keepsake for the family.
