At the age of 91, Connie passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Beloved wife to the late Angelo Belsito. Loving mother to Elsie (Clyde) Hammond and Jim (Elizabeth) Belsito. Proud Nonna to Chris, Mike, Stephanie, Andrew (Carlee) and Laura. Sister to the late Adeline, late Marie (late Sosto), late Joe (Ethel), late Alfred (Joyce), late Tony (late Anna), late Theresa, late Eda (late Quinn). Sister-in-law to late Tony (late Helen), late Fiore, late Frank (late Lou), late Yola (Guido), late Effa (late Peter) and late Antonietta. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Those who knew Connie will remember her passion for cooking and baking. Visiting Connie always meant arriving hungry as you knew you would leave full. Between her homemade pasta, pizza, cinnamon buns and raisin squares, Connie made everything with love and put her heart and soul into every dish. She will always be remembered for her vibrant personality and how she made every family member and friend feel loved and cared for. As per Connie’s request, a private family service will be held.
