Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with family by her side on Monday December 30, 2019 in her 93
rd year.
Mother of Bryan (Bonnie) Doncaster, Jackie Farrell, John Doncaster and Sherry (Mike) Ryan. Gramma of Craig Johnson (Jamie), Kari Foster, Stefanie and Kailie Doncaster. Great gramma of Noah, Abby, Aiden and Dylan. Daughter of the late Denis Louvain and Sarah Houghton. Survived by her sister Mary and predeceased by her siblings Neville, Peggy, Brenda, Allan and Brian. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in Nottingham England, Norma came to Canada on March 1, 1960, after a 4-day ship ride with her 4 young children. She arrived in Quebec and then later settled in Sault Ste. Marie. Norma was a very good friend of Bill W for many years. There will not be any visitation or services and cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the nurses on 3A and ICU at the Sault Area Hospital for the care given to Norma. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ARCH (payable by cheque).
