It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Andrea Jane Beeching on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Andrea will be missed by so many. Born in Montreal, she leaves behind her loving parents Myrna Matheson (Bernie) and David Beeching (Wendy). Left to grieve her loss is her adoring husband and love of her life John Dowding. Her brother David Beeching, sister Lisa Beeching (Tom McLean), also her niece Amber McNeil (Andrew) also great niece and great nephews, and her nephews Erik Pettersson, (Katie) and Ryan Pettersson. She was loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was sister in law to Ed Dowding (Ruth), Susie Kelly, Margaret Manzo (Peter), Al Dowding (Val), Anne Burch (Larry) and Paul Dowding (Shelagh), as well as her nieces and nephews Michael, Katherine, Chris, Courtney, Peter, Mike, Stephanie and Jennifer also many great nieces and great nephews. She will be sadly missed by many friends and neighbours.
From a young age, Andrea loved all sports, especially running, gymnastics, cycling and skiing just to name a few. Long walks with her husband John were also one of her favourite activities.
She had a beautiful compassionate heart, particularly for those most in need. In memoriam donations in Andrea’s memory may be made to the Shepherds of Good Hope Ottawa.
