It is with great sorrow and the deepest love that we announce the passing of Susan Ann Arbour (nee Keith) on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the age of 67. Susan passed peacefully with her loved ones by her side at Sault Area Hospital following her battle with renal disease.

Susan lives on in the hearts of her devoted husband, Wayne Arbour, her children, Kristine Arbour (Dave Murray), Jennifer Arbour and Melissa Belair (Trevor) as well as her faithful dog Louie. Susan’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, Brent Murray, Destiny Arbour, Emily Arbour, Melody Arbour, Amanda Arbour, Kierston Belair, Emma Belair and Benjamin Belair. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Ariel Arbour and Isabella Arbour.

Susan will be deeply missed by her siblings, Ron Keith (Gail), Diana Adams (Rick) and Brenda Keith. Susan was a proud aunt to Jonathon Keith, Katie Blakely, Jeff Adams (Jennifer), Adam Peters (Amanda) and Laura Peters (Derick Lenius).

Susan has been reunited with her best friend and chosen sister, Laurie Dewar (Dave). She leaves behind Laurie’s children, Amy Ferragini (Tom), Tracy Dewar (Steve Baic) and Jeffery Dewar (Sydney Compeau).

Susan touched many hearts throughout her life. She enjoyed working with the public during her career at Zellers but chose to retire early to devote her time to her true passions, being a full-time grandmother and a part time casino goer.

Susan was known for her big heart and kind ways. She was always quick to greet new people with open arms and offered gracious hospitality to anyone in need.

The family would like to express their utmost, bittersweet gratitude to the staff at SAH’s Renal Clinic, the staff on 3B as well as Dr. Culina, Dr. Grey and Dr. White for their unwavering compassion during Susan’s final days.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Come and Go Memorial on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home (215 James St) between the hours of 12:00pm and 3:00pm. In honour of Susan’s benevolent nature, memorial donations can be made to Women in Crisis Algoma.
