It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Wayne Kenoff Anderson on October 8, 2024, at the age of 66.
Loving husband for 46 years to Sylvia (nee Harper) who he loved with all his heart. Loving father of Brandy (Scott). Devoted Papa John to late Nicolas, Harley (Jack), Austin, Josh and Kegan (Meghan). Son of the late Percy “Boxer” and late Margaret Anderson (nee McColman). Will be deeply missed by his siblings David, Bud, Karin, Lori, Tracey and late Lisa. Loved and will be missed by many cousins.
Special thanks to David McColman, “DayDay” who was a lifelong best friend and sat with John daily.
Anyone who knew John knew he liked his Timmies, playing darts, watching NASCAR and fishing with Sylvia. Many knew him as “Teapot” and how he would always put a smile on people’s faces.
Special thanks to Bayshore Homecare Nurses for keeping him at home as long as he could. Special thanks to Algoma Manor Staff for their care and compassion during his stay.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Algoma Manor Community Palliative Care Room and are appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Teapots’ life will be held at a later date.
