AMBEAULT, Georgia Helen - Born on July 26, 1932, in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Canada, has peacefully passed away on July 4, 2024, at Extendicare Mapleview in her beloved hometown.

Wife of her late husband Robert Eugene, mother of Christopher (Rhonda), Robert (Linda) and Thomas (Jan). Grandmother of Megan, Sara, Matthew, Emily, John and Alexandra. Predeceased by her parents Tom Psihogios and Emma Maxwell, as well as, her siblings Marguerite, Birdie, George, Peter, Nicky and Ann Marie. Survived by her sister Claire and her brothers Jim, Bill and Patrick.

Georgia led a vibrant life, filled with joy and artistic expression. She was a talented musician, finding solace and beauty in playing the piano and flute. Additionally, she had a remarkable talent for painting pictures, creating beautiful works of art that captured the essence of her imagination.

One of Georgia's most notable traits was her infectious sense of humor, which she lovingly instilled in her three sons. Her laughter and witty remarks brought joy to those around her, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

She found immense pleasure in traveling and immersing herself in different environments. However, her heart always longed for Greece, a place that held a special corner in her soul. Beyond her love for music, art, and exploration, Georgia cherished her family above all else. She was a dedicated mother to her three sons and found boundless joy in watching them grow and succeed. Her legacy lives on through her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who will forever carry a piece of her spirit with them. Georgia Helen Ambeault will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her love for laughter, and her unwavering passion for the arts. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her during her remarkable journey. May she rest in peace, forever surrounded by the melodies of her piano, the colors of her paintings, and the laughter she brought into the lives of those she loved.

The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Mapleview for the care given to our mother over the past 3 years of her life. We would like to thank Irene Palumbo for her extra support for the last 25 years. She has been a remarkable and supportive niece, Georgia could not have maintained her daily living without Irene’s help and we are forever grateful.
