Peacefully at the Mauno Kaihla Koti, Finnish Resthome on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Pentti Ahde. Dear mother of Oliver (Sharon), Delvin (Linda) and Henry. Grandmother of Tricia (Rene), Keven, Jessica (Mike), Tamera, Travis, Jennifer, Jessie and Billy. Great grandmother of Tyler. Survived by her relatives in Finland. Special thanks to the staff at Mauno Kaihla Koti Finnish Resthome for their excellent care. A private family service was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, June 24, 2005. Rev. Paul Raapana officiated. Interment Port Findlay Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Finnish Resthome would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
