Beverly Carole Agawa, affectionately known as Carole to her friends and family, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Born in the same close-knit community, Carole's journey came full circle as she departed surrounded by the love and warmth of the place she always called home on September 24, 2024.

Carole's life was a testament to the power of love and the joy of family. Her best friend and soulmate, Doug, was her constant companion, sharing in laughter and life's simple pleasures. Together, they created a world filled with happiness and mutual respect, a legacy that will live on through the stories they've left behind.

Above all, Carole's role as a mother and grandmother was where she shone the brightest. Her four children, two stepchildren, and 15 grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Each laugh, each hug, and each word of wisdom imparted will be treasured by her grandchildren who adored their time with her.

Carole will be remembered as a loving, thoughtful, and spirited individual. Her infectious enthusiasm for life and unwavering support for those she loved were her hallmark traits. As we say goodbye to Carol, we celebrate the extraordinary life she led and the countless lives she touched with her generous spirit.

At this time, cremation has taken place. A 'potluck' Celebration of Carole's Life will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at the Echo Bay Elks Lodge (96 Church St, Echo Bay, ON) from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish for the potluck!
