Toronto FC fullback Steven Beitashour, injured in a collision with Montreal's Kyle Fisher in the Canadian Championship finale on June 27, has been released from hospital.
The 30-year-old defender underwent surgery the day after the Montreal game for a damaged pancreas.
There is no word on his return to action although coach Greg Vanney said earlier this week that it will take some time before Beitashour is cleared for contact.
Toronto has some time to play with given it does not see action again until July 19 at New York City FC because of the break for the Gold Cup.
Beitashour has been ever-present since joining Toronto from Vancouver prior to the 2016 season with 42 regular-season starts for the Reds.
