Pacific FC’s Emil Gazdov, Vancouver FC’s Callum Irving and York United FC’s Thomas Vincensini are the finalists for the Canadian Premier League's Golden Glove award, honouring the best goalkeeper during the 2024 regular season.

The winner, to be decided in a vote by technical leadership from all eight CPL clubs as well as select media, will be announced Nov. 7 in Calgary as part of the CPL championship game festivities.

Irving started all 28 matches for Vancouver in his second season with the club. The 31-year-old Eagles’ captain led all CPL goalkeepers with a league-record 96 saves. And his 3.43 saves per 90 minutes ranked first among CPL goalkeepers with at least 10 starts.

Irving was also nominated for the award in 2020 and 2022.

Despite missing time due to illness, the 21-year-old Gazdov finished tied for second with seven shutouts. He conceded 0.94 goals per 90 minutes, which ranked second among goalkeepers with at least 10 starts, and his 72.31 save percentage ranked third among 'keepers with at least 10 starts.

It marks Gazdov’s first Golden Glove nomination.

Vincensini started all 28 matches in his debut season for York United FC. The 31-year-old French veteran finished the regular season second among 'keepers with 11 victories and third with six shutouts and 73 saves.

Triston Henry, then with Forge FC, won last year's award. He also won in 2020.
