WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed star receiver Dalton Schoen to a one-year contract on Saturday.
The six-foot-one, 210-pound Schoen returns to Winnipeg for a fourth season after being limited to three games due to a knee injury in 2024.
In his previous two seasons, Schoen totalled 141 receptions for 2,663 yards and 26 touchdowns in 34 games to earn two West Division and CFL all-star nods.
The 28-year-old American was scheduled to hit free agency on February 11.
Schoen's 10 receiving touchdowns in 2023 led the CFL and his 1,222 yards ranked third.
The Blue Bombers have reached the Grey Cup championship game in each of his three seasons in Winnipeg so far, but have lost each time.

Roughriders sign star lineman Mike Rose
REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed star American defensive lineman Mike Rose.
Rose arrives in Saskatchewan after eight strong seasons in Calgary. The 32-year-old earned three All-CFL nods and won a Grey Cup with the Stampeders in 2018.
The six-foot-one, 270-pound Rose recorded 143 defensive tackles, 36 sacks, three forced fumbles and two interceptions in 86 regular-season games in Calgary.
Last season, he had 19 defensive tackles, one interception and a team-leading six sacks in 18 games.
The Roughriders did not disclose the terms of his contract.

Redblacks re-sign DeVonte Dedmon, release Dominique Rhymes
OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks have re-signed return specialist DeVonte Dedmon to a one-year contract and released receiver Dominique Rhymes.
Dedmon returned 29 kicks for 799 yards in 10 games last season to lead the CFL with an average of 27.6 yards per return. The 29-year-old also brought back 37 punts for 424 yards.
The 31-year-old Rhymes made 72 catches for 1,011 yards and two touchdowns in 18 games with the Redblacks last season. It was the American's second stint with the team after also suiting up for Ottawa from 2017 to 2019.
Rhymes played for the BC Lions from 2021 to 2023 and earned All-CFL honours in 2022.
