CALGARY — The Calgary Flames have named Don Maloney vice-president of hockey operations.
Maloney, who originally joined the Flames in 2016 as a scout, will report directly to general manager Brad Treliving.
Before joining the Flames, Maloney spent nine seasons as executive vice-president, general manager and alternate governor of the Arizona Coyotes. He the 10 seasons prior to joining Arizona as a member of the New York Rangers' front office, most recently serving as the team's vice-president of player personnel and assistant general manager.
The Flames also announced the re-signing of assistant GMs Craig Conroy and Brad Pascall.
