About THRIVE:
At THRIVE Child Development Centre/Centre de développement de l’enfant, we understand that each child is unique and encourage individual choice, family involvement and personal growth. Our vision is a Centre of Excellence where the child's goals toward independence are the shared focus for all services and supports. Our staff function as a professional team who are dedicated and committed to continuous 'state-of-the-art' and quality service to ensure every child reaches beyond what is expected to their personal extraordinary. Our culture of optimism and helping others permeates our organization, making this the ideal place to work.
THRIVE is one of Ontario’s twenty-one charitable, non-profit children's treatment centres, offering a broad range of community-based rehabilitation, developmental and related support services to over 1200 children and their families residing in Sault Ste. Marie and the District of Algoma. Their diversities span the physical, perceptual, communication, developmental and neurodevelopmental domains. Our integrated range of services and supports recognizes the changing physical, emotional and psychological aspects of a child's development.
As Algoma’s pre-eminent pediatric rehabilitation and development leader, we rely on an engaged & active Board of Directors to lead our growth and development. The Board currently oversees the activities of its 2022-2025 Strategic Plan.
