NEWS RELEASE
PAULINE'S PLACE
*************************
Homelessness is understood by many, but addressed by few. All individuals experiencing homelessness have the right to emergency shelter service regardless of political or religious beliefs, ethnocultural background, disability, mental health, substance use, gender identity and/or sexual orientation or ability to pay.

Pauline’s Place Non-Profit Homes Inc. is ready to organize Glambition - a community event to emphasize the alarming rate at which homelessness is spreading in our community and raise funds to support Pauline’s Place’s day-to-day operations.

In addition to that, multiple community organizations are coming together to help Pauline’s Place observe Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, and celebrate the community as one. They are trying to make it as multicultural as possible and need your support.

Pauline’s Place is calling onto the local artists and organizations to put their name in for the event. The event is to take place on Saturday, Nov. 20, 6 until 10 p.m. at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre. The entry is by donation only; the minimum donation is $10 per head. All age groups are welcome to join; food and drinks will be available.

Currently, they are looking to fill a few more spots for artistic entertainment - dance, music, fashion shows, and other cultural performances. They are also welcoming sponsorships and partnerships from local community partners towards making the evening bigger and better, and covering the event expenses.

The helpful parties will be recognized actively before, during and after the event. If you would like to contribute to their cause, contact Karam J. Singh at [email protected] or call (705) 759-4663 ext. 2
