Library can help you grow giant pumpkin

It is never too early to start planning for giant pumpkin growing season.

The pumpkin seedlings will need to be started soon so if you would like to reserve your free seedling, contact the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library’s North Branch at 705-759-5248.

The deadline to sign up for your pumpkin seedling is May 6, 2022. Plants will be available for pick-up at the entrance of Bellevue Park Greenhouse from May 24 to May 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants will be allowed one pumpkin seedling, courtesy of the Sault’s Parks Department.

This year’s seminar will be available online through the Library’s Facebook page starting April 4, 2022.

We encourage you to make this giant pumpkin growing experience a family endeavour.
