Grocer 4 Good seeks new board of directors members

On behalf of the board of directors, we invite the community to attend our annual general meeting to be held at our location, 147 Gore St., and we will unveil our new teaching kitchen. 

We are seeking applications to fill three vacant board positions and would appreciate applications from those in finance, human resource and self-advocates/advocates in the field of employment barriers.

Please send an email to [email protected], including a brief statement as to your interest in our organization, and please include your resume no later than Dec. 5, 2022. 

Terms and Election Process:

• Rotating directors - The directors shall be elected for a period of three years, and shall serve no more than two (2) terms.
• Method of election - Each director shall be elected by the members (other board directors) at the annual general meeting of the Corporation.
• Election - At each annual meeting following the annual meeting in which the rotation system is implemented, vacancies on the Board, whether through retirement or otherwise, shall be filled by election of directors.

About Grocer 4 Good Ability Development Program

Grocer 4 Good Ability Development Program will provide employment opportunities for those persons with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual disability, or who have been chronically underemployed.
