The G. Marconi Society’s annual golf tournament raised some serious green for a good cause.

Last week, event organizers presented a $4,500 cheque to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, carrying on the Italian club’s long tradition of giving back to the Sault community.

The Marconi Society’s annual Golf Classic was held Sept. 8 at the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club.
